The location was close to the bus stop to catch the No. 8 bus to the city center. It had restaurants around it. The Family room was comfortable for the 3 of us. The bathroom was clean with a good working towel dryer!(always a plus!). Pete was very prompt with his reply and clear on his instructions,
The hallway leading to the family room. Room 8 was very narrow and the ceiling very low. There was a very low laying winding staircase at the end of this hallway that literally will not let you descend if you are wearing a backpack because the ceiling was so low. We are all 5’4”-5’5” in height. My daughter thought it was adorable and added to the Narnia and LOTR vibe she was seeking for. Will definitely stay here again!!

We stayed one night and for us the location was perfect. We used the car park accessed by a code. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable of the area. The room was quirky and very spacious. Coffee making facility hit the spot. The bed was very comfortable.
We knew the location was near a road and expected a bit of noise but due to the building being listed we appreciated that work on the building would be restricted. As it was the windows were single glazed not double glazed letting more noise in. Plus there must have been a loose manhole cover because it banged every time a car ran over it.
