The stay was absolutely exceptional. The facilities were clean, newly renovated, rooms were beautifully appointed. The views are stunning. The staff went above and beyond and couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful. Pool area was lovely. If you're there in peak season I could see the pool seating maybe getting crowded but we were there early to mid Sept and it was perfect, had no issues getting a lounge chair. A pleasant 10 minute walk to the heart of Belagio and refreshingly a little off the beaten path so not in the heart of the tourism. I was debating a lot of different hotels but couldn't more highly recommend the Belvedere. It feels local and Italian with the quality of a 5 star hotel.

Breath-taking views everywhere! Spacious, comfortable room with attentive staff. The concierge Alberto was especially helpful! Outstanding spa, with many amenities and excellent staff. The best hot breakfast we had during our 4 week European trip, the fresh fruit, omelettes, and pastries were to die for. A shuttle was available to ferry us to downtown and back again upon request, which we used.
The hotel is located above the downtown area, so is a semi steep walk up to it. However, there is a shuttle if needed. The location means the area is quiet, which is great, and the views are unobstructed. The evening restaurant menu is limited and quite pricey.
