โExcellent locationโ
Great location by the river. Room well proportioned and comfortable with a small.kitchen. Swimming pool large and sunny location.
Seemed to be short of staff so a little waiting time at check in and out. Shower is over a bath. Breakfast had very few western options.

Lots of space - large apartments which is good for a family. Great to have the kitchen and full sized fridge and freezer. Perfect location. Great Banh Mi cafรฉ opposite the hotel. Great to have access to a washing machine. Very friendly and helpful staff around the hotel.
Original room was very dated, lots of stains on walls and furnishings, and smelt of smoke. Very quickly changed to a new room, but I was told all river facing rooms are allocated to long term guests. New room was renovated but on a lower floor and near the front of the hotel and so lots and lots of noise from the main road. Also noise from neighbours, though nothing antisocial. Breakfast was limited but OK. Not really a five star property based on the condition of the rooms and breakfast - you are sacrificing certain things for the size of the rooms and the location.
โOverall a pleasant stayโ
After a few hiccups with reception over the type of room that was allocated to us we finally settled in to the hotel. The location of the hotel is very good and we enjoyed walking along the path by the river every day past the markets and to the restaurants and action. We enjoyed using the swimming pool and breakfast was ok. It was quiet and peaceful in the mornings. The staff were very friendly and helpful and overall we enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Some of the room ammenities such as the laundry room could use an update. In saying that though, it was handy to have a washing machine which we used. A solid three stars out of five for this hotel.

โYou Never Want to Miss !โ
Area of the hotel and the room are very spacious and clean, Important good security guards and the staffs are very friendly and well trained for their services. You can try their own Himawari Microbrewery beer and also try the Sunset Cruise just 3 mins walk from the hotel. Location is fantastic which within the city of Phnom Penh. I do recommend those family, group or couple consider to stay in Himawari Hotel. Yeah not forget, I love the swimming pool very much ! Thumbs up ! Rating 4/5
