“Surprising, exhausting but welcoming”
The staff is really nice. The rooms are spacious.
Too many switches for the lights, not intuitive. The blue rooms are really "special". We asked for any room except that one a few months prior our visit in Bangkok and we got that room. We asked for another one and the staff accepted without delay. The property was making renovations at the pool and did not inform us about it so the view from the gym was hidden by covers on the windows.
Amazing everything I’ll definitely come back again
1. other guests were offered welcome drinks upon arrival, while we were not 2. during the payment process of deposit withdrawal, the receptionist told us the would take away our credit card away from our table. I was uncomfortable with this, as allowing a payment card to be taken out of sight raises legitimate concerns about the security of banking information 3. the toiletries in our room were incorrectly placed: body lotion was in the dispenser labelled for soap, while the soap was in dispenser intended for lotion. we unknowingly washed out hands with lotion as a result 4. on the day of the checkout, when we returned to collect our luggage, the receprion staff instructed us to go on the 4th floor. we ended up searching for our bags in the parking area before discovering he meant 1st floor. I would strongly encourage the hotel to improve staff communication skills and ensure the employees have sufficient English proficiency to provide guests with correct instructions
