“We love the hotel- they need to update their AC”
Location and its so clean!!!
The AC was awful! Terrible- we sweated every night
Location was perfect, views from the room and restaurant were absolutely beautiful. Breakfast was delicious. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Pool was very small, more like a hot tub, which we couldn’t tell from the website.
“Spectacular”
WOW! This hotel was spectacular and left us spoiled for the remainder of our trip (which included the Amalfi coast). We've stayed at many 5 star properties around the world and this hotel was in the top 2 or 3. Maybe competing for #1 for us. Things we loved: the snacks/drinks/prosseco provided from 10:00 (?) to 6:00 (?) every day. Never had any issues grabbing a table and everything was refreshed constantly.; the beach club was great. we had a beach club at our hotel in Praiano and we enjoyed this beach club much more; our room was spectacular - lots of a/c, well appointed, plenty of space to keep our clothes, shoes, etc.; balcony was awesome - we sat on it for hours every night, enjoying the spectacular views; breakfast was excellent - plenty of choices for everyone in the family, staff very attentive.; Things that were "fine": We probably enjoyed the bar more than Pergola restaurant - we went for both lunch and dinner and, other than the view, the food was somewhat average at best. Things they could do better: I believe they have shuttle service but we were not told about it. It would have come in handy as transportation was a bit hard to find and I have mobility issues (which they could clearly see upon my arrival and throughout our stay). Some of the front desk staff seemed a bit uninterested in being helpful/acknowledging us. We didn't even know where the front desk was initially because they walked us over to a couch near the snack area in order to check us in - maybe they were trying to make us comfortable? If so, they could have offered a drink or told us how the snack area "worked" while we sat there and waited to be checked in.
