“A Pleasant Stay with Friendly Staff, but Basic Amenities”
The hotel is in a very convenient location, with excellent public transport connections and plenty of shops, cafés and restaurants nearby. The staff were exceptionally friendly and allowed me to check-in almost two hours early, which I really appreciated. The room was clean, the shower worked well, and breakfast offered a good variety of German-style options, including sausages, cheeses, dairy products and fresh fruit. Overall, a pleasant stay.
The room was very basic, with a rather small bed and no kettle, tea- or coffee-making facilities, or mini-fridge. Although the staff kindly provided boiled water, having to go to reception every time I wanted a cup of tea was inconvenient. A kettle on each floor would be a simple but very welcome improvement. Considering that the price was over €120 per night, I felt the hotel was a little overpriced for a three-star property with such basic amenities.
