“Relaxation in a beautiful setting”
A beautiful hotel with a genuinely warm welcome. We were pleasantly surprised to be offered check-in three hours early, and small but thoughtful touches, such as our luggage being in the room before we arrived, set the tone for the stay. Staff were generally courteous throughout. We stayed in two different rooms and both were lovely, though we found the Deluxe Room with Pool to be cozier and more charming than the Prestige Room with Pool, despite the latter carrying a higher price tag. Breakfast featured a small but lovely selection of traditional Sardinian treats, which we really appreciated. The food in the restaurant was genuinely delicious. Pricing across the board initially felt steep, but proved to be in line with the wider area, which is among the more expensive in Sardinia. An absolute highlight was dinner at La Colti, a farm to table experience with an affiliation to the hotel. The complementary shuttle service made it a seamlessly convenient evening. Unfortunately, we didn't have time to use the spa facilities but they looked stunning.
We had a wonderful stay and would happily recommend this hotel. That said, given the price point and five-star status, a few small but easily fixable things fell short. No bar and pool service. We always had to approach reception to prompt someone to take our order. Turn-down service arrived on 3 out of 4 nights while we were still getting ready around 7 PM, despite the hotel's own restaurant not opening until 7:30 PM and the hotel knowing we had later dinner reservations. Staff also occasionally walked through our private garden while we were in the room. Finally, access to free drinking water was surprisingly limited. At this price point, bottles should be freely available throughout the stay and consistently replenished during turn-down service. All quite minor points and easy to fix — we hope the hotel takes them on board!

My stay at Cascioni Eco Retreat was absolutely wonderful. From the moment I arrived, I was surrounded by a sense of peace, quiet, and complete harmony with nature. It is the perfect place to disconnect, slow down, and simply enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The rooms are beautifully designed, with great attention to detail and a wonderful combination of comfort, elegance, and natural elements. I particularly loved having my own little private garden, which made the room feel even more special and secluded. The staff were professional, attentive, and genuinely welcoming throughout our stay. Everything felt effortless, while still maintaining a very personal and thoughtful level of service. Overall, Cascioni Eco Retreat is an exceptional place and exceeded my expectations. A truly relaxing and memorable experience — 10/10.

The property was exceptional but the staff was even better! Cynthia and the manager plus all the ground staff were incredible. The best booking.com stay we’ve ever had! We got upgraded upon arrival for our 25 year anniversary, wine in our room, even a private shuttle to guide us home when we got very lost at the end of the night!
