The friendly staff and the location.
On Friday morning we had no hot water for several hours. The phone didn't work properly, I had no iron, ironing board or sufficient hangers and the TV had to be tuned in.
“Highly Recommended”
The room is very clean and just a short walk from the main street. There’s plenty of parking available just across the road (free after 8pm). The room also has its own washing machine and dryer.
There used to be washing liquid provided in the room, but there wasn’t any this time. Perhaps it’s now only provided upon request.
Friendly and knowledgeable reception. Unit very clean and well appointed with one exception. (See below) with all amenities one would expect. Comfortable bed. Nice to have natural light with city scape view from 4th floor. Bathroom and laundry facilities in the unit excellent..
The intermittent reception on the TV which required a visit from maintenance ( very helpful) to re boot so tv1 could be accessed. Still dodgy the following day. Limited channels available and no facility to cast from phone on demand or from sky go as it wasn't a smart tv. If this hadn't been the case we would have rated our stay excellent rather than good.
