Worst welcome in the evening ever. I arrived at 01:30 on my own and told me to go out and wait outside until 15:00 although there was vacancy. I know because he wanted to charge extra Euro 98 more for a room that was waiting for me. I sat on the reception stairs with my case and said, I am not going anywhere. I know there is a seating area upstairs. He neither offered to take my case or allowed me to go to the seating area. I had arrived at the hotel after 20 hours of journey and I cannot accept to be thrown out of the hotel until check-in. I went to the seating room to at least sit somewhere alrhough he tried to stop me initially. He left me alone first but then came to check me a few times to see if I was sleeping on the coach, because he said he would charge the Euro 98 if I sleep. I am stubborn person. I did not sleep all night long after such a long journey until eventually later in the morning at about 11:00, they allowed me to my vacant room. I am in the tourism business as well. Check-in and check-out hours are standart ( theirs was 15:00 whereas the rest of the world is 14:00 ) and needed to inform and manage the expectation of the customer. HOWEVER, the room is technically mine as of 00:01 if there is no else staying at the time. If in case people arrive me at difficult times like mine and the room was really full, basic and simple curtasy would be appreciated by showing a simple place to sit instead of trying to throw out of the hotel in the middle of the night. I wanted to speak to the manager. He said ge did not have his/her or anybody else's number. Such a bad lier. I want to thank especially to the cleaning lady, Susan, who started the day with a positive '' good morning" and asked how she could help. She took my case to their storage room. She told me where the toilet was and said there was the teras as well to wait. That's all it takes. Simple empathy. Night manager was WORST EVER.
