“Plusieurs changements de chambre et de nombreux problèmes de propreté, d’entretien et de maintenance”
Notre séjour a malheureusement été marqué par de nombreux problèmes de propreté, d’entretien et de maintenance. La première chambre, située dans un bâtiment présenté comme rénové, comportait pourtant beaucoup de poussière, du mobilier abîmé, des traces sur les murs ainsi que des joints de salle de bain fortement dégradés et présentant des traces noires. Une deuxième chambre nous a été proposée, mais nous y avons retrouvé des problèmes similaires. Le manager nous a ensuite proposé de retourner dans le bâtiment A dans une troisième chambre. Celle-ci présentait également des défauts importants : climatisation qui ne fonctionnait pas correctement et fenêtre qui ne fermait pas. Une nouvelle solution a encore dû être recherchée. Au total, nous avons dû visiter ou changer plusieurs chambres, ce qui nous a fait perdre beaucoup de temps pendant notre séjour. L’état de certains espaces communs nous a également surpris. Autour de la piscine, plusieurs équipements et finitions apparaissaient très dégradés. Nous avons notamment constaté la présence de vis et d’éléments métalliques rouillés dans ou à proximité immédiate du bassin. Enfin, depuis la piscine, nous avons assisté à une scène qui nous a particulièrement interpellés : en pleine après-midi, alors qu’il faisait très chaud, deux employés manipulaient des produits alimentaires provenant de congélateurs, les pesaient puis les déposaient directement au sol avant de les remettre dans les congélateurs environ vingt minutes plus tard. Nous n’avons pas photographié cette scène, mais elle nous a sérieusement questionnés sur les pratiques d’hygiène et le respect de la chaîne du froid. Le personnel a essayé de nous proposer plusieurs solutions, ce que nous reconnaissons, mais compte tenu du nombre de problèmes rencontrés dans plusieurs chambres successives et de l’état général de certains équipements, l’expérience n’était clairement pas au niveau attendu d’un établissement de cette catégorie.
“Pretty good, almost there”
The bed and bedding, the safe, the quick check-in, most of the staff, interior design, full-size hand soap and shower dispensers, fluffy fresh towels.
1. The narrow balcony; what was advertised as a "view" and I paid more for was only overlooking the breakfast courtyard. Who wants to come out to the tiny balcony in full view of the diners? 2. Need to have two hooks for the hand towels near the bathroom sink.
Hôtel super propre. J'ai passé un super séjour au point ou je l'ai prolongé d'une nuit. Proche du centre ville et des boutiques. Café offert à la reception et personnels souriant.
“Modern comforts in an old city”
Great location. Surrounded by malls to make any shopping very convenient, and 15 mins walk to the UNESCO area. The room was clean and comfortable. Not very big but more than enough room. Each floor also had a water station to refill water. The breakfast was a perfect combination of local and international cuisine. The staff was super friendly and always ready with advice and suggestion. English was not a problem.
The bathroom didn't have any electrical socket. It was not possible for me to trim my beard in the bathroom, and I did not feel comfortable doing it in the bedroom desk area.
