The choice of items on the breakfast and dinner menus was good and the quality of the food was excellemt
The room was somewhat cramped with limited clothes hanging space
Great pub with a veiry good standard of rooms. Tea, coffee, comfy beds, firm pillows, strong shower, quality breakfast and pub food, big garden right in the centre of the village.

Archie the young man was exceptional. He made our first stay on the island brilliant. His knowledge and generally taking care of us. He absolutely couldn't have done more. So a huge thankyou Archie

Quaint, remodeled inn with a neighborhood vibe
I ate dinner at the inn. Fish was excellent but I would have liked more green beans and less potatoes. The salad was tiny.
“Lovely property overall”
Staff were lovely and welcoming. Breakfast was tasty with good quality ingredients. Bathroom was lovely and rooms tidy and clean. Aircon was brilliant and quiet. Plenty of parking. Room decor nice and plenty of room for suitcases (we stayed in family room)
Pillows were super soft and flattened as I slept. Spring mattress too soft for my liking. Could hear people talking and the music from downstairs so was noisy until about 10pm (this was on a Saturday and bank holiday Sunday night). Not ideal with children. Perhaps I should have foreseen this, being above a pub, but being a 4*, I also assumed that noise wouldn't be an issue.
