“The closest you will come to staying in a castle without going to Europe”
This place was a hidden gem. We loved the experience. The room was large, the bed was great and had a view over Dunedin. The bathroom floor was heated. The staff went out of their way to help us, they were all lovely. Having dinner in the castle was a great thing as it is a long and windy drive to anywhere else. And breakfast included was a bonus.
The food was tasty but did not arrive hot, so this was a bit disapointing

Such a gorgeous cosy room in the stables! We loved our time there and would have loved to stay for longer. The grounds are so beautiful and the free entry to the castle is also another added bonus. The breakfast is also fantastic! I would absolutely come back again. The staff were also the nicest people!
Nothing not to like! It went above and beyond.
