Più volte abbiamo dovuto cercare i camerieri e abbiamo atteso quasi un'ora prima che il cibo arrivasse. Inoltre, c'era una scarsità di lettini in spiaggia e l'isolamento acustico delle camere era insufficiente: si sentiva ogni rumore dalla stanza accanto
“Do not book this hotel!”
Our experience at Sylvia Hotel & Resort Komodo was so bad that we checked out after just one night, despite having originally booked a four-night stay. The hotel was filthy and clearly neglected. The air conditioning did not work, making the room unbearably uncomfortable. The toilet seat was extremely loose, and the shower head was completely covered in limescale and looked like it had not been properly cleaned in a very long time. The overall condition of the room was unacceptable and far below what anyone should expect from a hotel. What was even more shocking was the attitude of the reception staff. When we reported these issues, they showed no interest in helping us and seemed completely indifferent to our concerns. In fact, when we decided to leave early and handed in our room key, they practically laughed at us instead of taking our complaints seriously. Their behavior was unprofessional, disrespectful, and made an already terrible experience even worse. To add insult to injury, after all the problems we experienced, they still had the audacity to charge us for a taxi back to the airport. The only positive thing about this hotel was the taxi driver, Niko. He was friendly, attentive, professional, and genuinely helpful. Unfortunately, he was the only person who made us feel welcome during our stay. This was one of the worst hotel experiences we have ever had. We left after one night because we simply could not justify staying any longer. I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere if you are planning a trip to Komodo.
