“Nice place but greedy owner”
Place was budget friendly and the common kitchen was nice bonus. We were big group so we made our own foods. Also the only person in a staff was friendly.
Everything went well untill last evening. But then the owner who any of us did not see during whole stay realized that one of the group (me) was a foreigner. So he/she did send that friendly lady from the staff late in the evening to tell me that the money I did pay for booking. com was not enough. They first claimed that 3 children in group were adults (age 1, 4 and 6) and they need to pay a full price. Naturally I did not agree with that. Then they started to count how many liters we consume water/day. They insisted me to pay 4000 peso extra. After a small fight I did pay 2600. I was too tired to defend myself. Fact is that owner is a greedy person. And believe me they will find a way to charge extra from you in a way or another! Its not question about the money its a question of principle. Deal is deal and owner just wanned to earn extra. So be careful because the price you pay for booking might not be the final price! We had a plan to return next year to this very same resort. But because of the owner and his attitude we wont ever return. Owner got 2600 but lost a client.
