“Scammer near Interlaken West”
We arrived around 12:30, so we were not expecting the rooms to be ready, but the lady allowed us to keep our luggage in the apartment. This was the only thing we liked about the stay. Also I liked the views from the windows.
We just had one small cabin size trolley. We found the rooms and kitchen had very bad odors when we went to keep the luggage and requested the cleaning lady to clean the apartment and do something with the smell and she will have plenty of time as I told her we'll be back only after 8pm. She said if we pay her extra only then she will clean otherwise she will just make the beds and provide linens. I informed the property manager but they didn't respond. We totally got scammed by this Apartment- they didn't provide any hand-wash liquid or shower gel in the bathroom. The towels were excessively rough. The toilet seat cover was broken. The windows had cobwebs. The carpet in the corridor was too dirty. The dishwasher had no racks inside. The bathroom was basin ha water clogging issue.

The apartment is very well located and quite spacious. The one I booked had two bedrooms, both with double beds, plus a single bed in the living room, so it can comfortably accommodate up to five people. Although I didn’t use it, the apartment also has a well-equipped kitchen with a stove, refrigerator, plates, glasses, cutlery, pots and pans, microwave, electric kettle and dish towels. There were towels for everyone in the bedrooms, and the bathroom had toilet paper and soap. The apartment is simple, so don’t expect luxury, but it suited me very well. It is important to remember that this is an apartment, not a hotel, so you should not expect hotel services or a luxurious accommodation, as that is not what you will find here. On the other hand, if you are looking for a spacious, comfortable place in a great location with everything you need for your stay, this apartment is a very good choice.
I don’t consider these to be criticisms, but rather just a couple of observations. I believe it is relatively common in Switzerland for bathrooms not to have windows to the outside. Since the bathroom is completely enclosed, there is limited air circulation, and because of this, there was always a slight smell of dampness. In my country, it is very common for bathrooms to have windows, so I noticed this difference during my stay. However, as I mentioned, I believe this is more a matter of local culture and construction standards than an actual problem with the apartment. Another point I found a little difficult was communicating with the host. I had some questions before my stay and tried to contact her via WhatsApp using the number provided on the website, as well as through the Booking.com chat, but I didn’t receive a response. I was only able to contact the host when I was already on my way to the apartment.
