  We were welcomed at the hotel shown in the photos and advertised on Booking.com, but we were then taken to a completely different house located approximately 6–7 minutes away on foot. The property we were given did not have a swimming pool, and the sea was also much farther away than what was presented in the listing. Most importantly, the room we received was completely different from the room shown in the photos on Booking.com. I booked this property specifically because of the location, swimming pool, proximity to the sea, and the room shown in the listing. None of these expectations were met. I find this extremely misleading and unacceptable. We did not even stay in the room because it was not what we had booked or what was advertised. I therefore believe that the compensation of only €24 is completely inadequate considering the circumstances. I kindly ask Booking.com to review my complaint again and provide a fair and appropriate refund.

  Slechte ervaring met de communicatie. Ze hebben ons niet geholpen met de problemen die we hebben gemeld. Zowel de receptie als Booking.com was totaal niet behulpzaam; ze schoven de verantwoordelijkheid steeds naar elkaar door. Ik gebruik Booking.com regelmatig en had niet verwacht dat de situatie zo zou verlopen. Ondanks meerdere contactmomenten met de receptie en Booking.com is er geen goede oplossing gekomen. Het personeel was niet vriendelijk of behulpzaam. Tot nu toe ben ik erg ontevreden en ik raad dit hotel niet aan.
