“perfect place to get a rest, all good”
Cosy stay. Close to aerospace museum. Clean. Kitchen well stocked. Jane was very welcoming. She left yummy cupcakes to welcome us alongwith milk, tea and butter which was all very appreciated. The decor is stylish with lots of books, the piano and games to keep everyone entertained.

“Quiet and comfortable with a beautiful garden”
This was a very convenient base for visiting nearby family. We loved how quaint and historic the immediate area was, and the garden in summer was beautiful with table tennis and a ball game for the kids to play. The barn itself was quiet and comfortable and had everything we needed, and we appreciated the organic milk and butter, and homemade treats provided on arrival.
This is probably only an issue if you want to pay from an international bank account, but it would have been hugely helpful if we could have paid by credit card. It took a long time to figure out how to do the international transfer and we had to pay both our bank fees and the local UK bank fees, including for the return of the damage deposit. They also request to have the beds stripped etc if possible, which made trying to get a family of four out the door early in the morning to catch our train a little more stressful than it would otherwise have been.
