Staying at Ferncliff Bungalow in Nuwara Eliya was an absolute highlight of our trip. From the moment we stepped onto the property, the timeless charm and colonial heritage set the tone for a deeply relaxing stay. * Breathtaking Views: Waking up to the morning mist rolling across the hills and lush manicured gardens is magical. The panoramic scenery from the terrace and veranda offers the perfect tranquil backdrop to unwind with a warm cup of Ceylon coffee. * Warm, Efficient Service: The staff went above and beyond to make our stay effortless. Every request was handled with genuine warmth, speed, and discretion, making us feel completely at home without ever feeling intrusive. * Exceptional Breakfast: The morning spread was a culinary treat was a complimentary. Everything served was fresh, beautifully presented, and flavorful from the fresh fruits and warm scrambled egg on the 29th and local omelette on the 30th with bacon prepared to perfection apart from bread and butter. Ferncliff strikes the perfect balance of old world elegance, pristine nature, and top tier hospitality. We cannot recommend it highly enough and look forward to returning.

Very beautiful colonial building. Our room was spacious with views of the gardens. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast delicious. The staff were welcoming and attentive, we were greeted with a pot of tea and home made biscuits on arrival. It was quite pricey, but the surroundings do offer more than just your bog standard accommodation.
For the price, tea and coffee facilities in the room would have been nice as would a hairdryer, although I have no doubt one would have been supplied had I have asked.

What a perfect way to experience some of Sri Lanka's history The house is a step back in time and we were very well looked after by Bernard and enjoyed some excellent local cooking Would not hesitate to recommend
