Abbiamo soggiornano in questa struttura due notti dopo aver finito la crociera sul Nilo. È un piccolo angolo di pace, sull'isola non abbiamo trovato venditori insistenti, solo persone gentilissime ed accoglienti che, al nostro arrivo, ci hanno detto di essere tutti una "grande famiglia". Qui si respira autenticità, il vero spirito del popolo nubiano. È stato bellissimo vedere i bambini giocare fino a tardi, asinelli e caprette girare liberi, prendere la barca (a soli 15 EGP, proprio di fronte alla casa!) per fare un giro ad Assuan o per visitare il bel giardino botanico vicino all'isola Elefantina. Siamo stati contenti di questa scelta perchè sono stati proprio due giorni rilassanti. A partire dalle 7 del mattino ci hanno gentilmente offerto colazione con falafel, formaggio, verdura, uova, the, caffè, il terrazzo è molto molto bello. Essendo bassa stagione eravamo gli unici nella struttura, ma c'erano comunque altri turisti sull'isola. Abbiamo mangiato da Kana Kato e da Makani ad Assuan, il nostro preferito! La barca è attiva sempre, anche la sera tardi e la mattina presto, è comoda anche se si hanno valige o se si deve partire e si ha un po' di fretta.
Nuba Dool was a lovely place to stay. Would highly recommend for those interested in staying on Elephantine Island. I found it comfortable, secluded, and safe even as a female solo traveller.
There is only a communal fridge, and occasionally items would go missing. Otherwise, no real complaints. Be sure you know which ferry to take from main Aswan. The one by the KFC is far, so try to head further South.

Para ser un alojamiento en la isla Elefantina no estaba mal, dado que el ferry nos quedaba nada más y nada menos que a 100 mts. Las instalaciones estaban limpias y cómodas.
Me hubiera gustado disfrutar del desayuno que se nos incluía, el cual comenzaba a las 07:30. Dado que teníamos que irnos antes a una excursión que salía a las 7, consultamos si podrían darnoslo antes o al menos llevar una vianda pero no fue posible. Me hubiera gustado que tuvieran ese gesto.
