“Cheap, but unclean and sad.”
The staff were mostly pleasant, but some were very young and inexperienced. The view over the marina is really nice and to sit on the waterfront at the bar is lovely.
Cleanliness!!! We were aware that the price was very cheap, so did not have high expectations, but our room was not cleaned properly. Rubbish under the couch, and only a bottom sheet so I am fairly sure the quilt cover is not washed regularly, yuk. A leak somewhere in the bathroom so water constantly on the floor. The place has just been let go, and it is very sad, light bulbs not replaced, Kids running the restaurant so although generous not great. Tables not cleaned, we were going to have the help yourself breakfast the next morning before work but there was virtually nothing there and what was looked old. It just needs people who have some pride in the hotel, as the bones are all there but it seems no-one cares.

Dirty walls, dirty curtains, no cutlery, no tv control, fridge didn't work and half eaten pizza sitting on the top of wardrobe.
