“Amazing, relaxing and truly impressed. Glad we came here for a mum and daughter getaway.”
Reception was very friendly and made us feel very welcome, they gave us snacks the next day while we were out exploring the scultures and bamboo forest. With the bonus of the Whittakers chocolates and the free drinks in the fridge and snacks. So peaceful and beautiful. Spas were amazing together with the sauna. It was a lovely mother and daughter getaway. I would definitely return again.
There is nothing to complain about at all. But what would make it even better be having the outdoor pool slightly heated and having a room service option that provided breakfast in bed option and other available items to purchase in the evening.

The outside grounds are wonderful with fun sculptures and the building itself is very impressive. The pool area is good, with a sauna and hot tubs. Our room was large, with a newly renovated bathroom. The bed was very comfortable.
The service offering lets this place down. It's just not at the level the price would suggest. In particular, the dinner was very average (ie local pub food), and yet very expensive.

We liked everything. The room was beautiful, the gardens were completely wonderful, the staff were professional, friendly, helpful and charming. Breakfast and dinner were excellent! Thanks Star! The complementary snacks and drinks were a generous and thoughtful touch. These things make a difference.
That I don’t own the lodge and I live too far away from it in Australia!! It was exactly what it claimed to be.. nothing negative.
