We had the Presidential Suite, so size of room and amenities were fantastic. The reception and bar staff were exceptional. You need to go to the bar and take in the night views while drinking an ice cold draught Beer Lao.
Hot dishes at breakfast could be warmer.

only had breakfast on one of the days. it was simple buffet style but sufficient. could cook toast but no egg station
I made 4 separate bookings across a 9 day period as my broader Laos plans kept moving around - i had stays in locations outside Vientiane. Three of these were made via booking.com and 1 direct when at the hotel. The first 2 were via booking.com at ~AUD 98 night, the third was direct at hotel ~AUD104, and the 4th time was again via booking.com (as I was away from hotel, out of Vientiane) - that time was ~AUD144. Very disappointed with booking.com on that occasion.
