The hotel was very clean and well presented. The room as well was clean and well made up. Registration at reception was smooth and there was no issues on checking in. For my purposes, the hotel was well located and the use of taxi and uber was not an issue. Value for money was a focus for me during a period of high activity in the city, and this hotel provided that. While I was not overly impressed with the buffet breakfast, what was there was well prepared and tasted great and for the cost, it was a fair presentation - again, value for money wins out.
The room and facilities were functional only - there was nothing that made it stand out. The bathroom was on the small side and somewhat cramped. While the room was big enough there was nothing in it. As I was there for work, I would have liked a desk and a place to plug in my laptop - but there was nothing set up for this. Wifi was slow and bit lagging. The breakfast buffet was sparse - there was not much choice of either cold or hot food. However, there were not many people at the hotel, so the lack of variety and volume may have been a function of the residency at the time - in which case I acknowledge that not preparing excess food and then wasting it was an appropriate action.
