“Bonne Maison.”
Good sized room, Comfortable bed. Good quality toiletries and towels. Nice menu choice at dinner and breakfast. Reasonably priced public car park in close proximity.

“Wonderful stay at Malmaison”
We were kindly upgraded to a suite. Being my husbands birthday, it was a lovely surprise. Dinner and breakfast was very good. The location is great on the Quay with parking right behind the hotel at an excellent rate for Newcastle.
Personal preference would be for a bigger walk in shower. The lighting in the room is very dark. I suppose a designer thing to give a moody atmosphere but makes things a bit tricky for shaving or applying makeup.

Location and views over river Tyne bridges. Parking good in adjacent multi-story car park. ( top floor). Warm greeting from staff. Room excellent ( had an upgrade for £10.00 to junior suite on 7th floor). We only stayed one night and ate out with friends from another hotel so cannot comment on meals. Good value and would certainly stay there again.
Decoration not to our liking. Too dark. Bathroom looked tired but had a shower and bath. Long trek from car to hotel if you have a lot of luggage.
