The location is good.
Extremely disappointing — no water, no basic facilities, and poor handling by management I had stayed here before and chose to return because I had previously enjoyed my experience. Unfortunately, this stay was completely different and extremely disappointing. The most serious issue was that after returning from dinner, there was no water at all. This meant no working toilets, no shower, no washing and no basic hygiene. I waited until around midnight hoping the water would return, but nothing happened. The water only returned in the morning. I eventually had to wash myself using bottled water. This is simply unacceptable for accommodation — water and functioning toilets are basic necessities, not a luxury. What is even more concerning is that other guests told me this was not the first time this had happened. I have travelled to Bali sooo many times, including Uluwatu, many other parts of the island and also Gili Trawangan. Even in places where water availability can sometimes be challenging, I have never experienced a situation where I was left without water for an entire night at a property. When I raised the issue, I felt the owner didn’t seem to care. What I found particularly frustrating was that the owner himself acknowledged that he would not want to experience this situation during his own holiday, yet somehow this was considered acceptable for paying guests. I found that attitude very difficult to understand. I had three nights remaining when I decided to leave because I was not willing to risk another night without water or functioning toilets. The property eventually refunded me for only two of those three remaining nights, while I received no compensation whatsoever for the horrible night I had already endured — waiting until midnight for water, unable to properly shower or use the facilities, and having to wash with bottled water. There was also a frightening incident involving monkeys during breakfast.

The pool was gorgeous, beautiful view right out front of our room. The rooms were kept clean and tidy, the grounds were well maintained and gardens were pretty. It was also great to have water always available for purchase in the fridge. The staff were friendly as well.
Unfortunately the water was shut off one evening and came back on in the morning, it was a minor inconvenience. The beds/mattresses were quite hard. Staff were a bit difficult to find at times.

Het personeel was supervriendelijk en de kamers zijn heel ruim. De villa’s liggen centraal, met verschillende leuke en lekkere restaurants en strand op wandelafstand.
Het ontbijt vond ik eerder beperkt. Daarnaast had ik een villa aan de straatkant, waar veel lawaai te horen was van scooters, muziek en de airco van het nabijgelegen restaurant. Het hotel kan hier zelf weinig aan doen, maar als lichte slaper heb ik hierdoor helaas weinig geslapen.
