βVery disappointing stay β serious service and safety concernsβ

Very disappointing stay β serious service and safety concerns This was my third stay at this hotel, but unfortunately, this was by far the most disappointing. I stayed for 5 nights with my elderly parents and had two rooms. I had previously stayed here in December and chose the hotel again because of the renovated rooms and my earlier experience. I even made this reservation almost two months in advance and requested balcony rooms, but this request was not accommodated. Unfortunately, there were several serious issues during our stay: β’ A/C noise made sleeping extremely difficult: Both rooms had a very disturbing, repetitive noise at night. Even after switching the A/C off, the noise continued at approximately one-minute intervals. My elderly parents and I could barely sleep. I complained several times, but the issue was never fixed during our entire 5-night stay. β’ Extremely rude and disrespectful bar staff: As hotel guests, we sat at a restaurant/bar table where guests were allowed to sit. A female bar staff member approached us in an extremely rude, disrespectful and unprofessional manner, told us we could not sit there and asked us to leave, without giving any reasonable explanation. This was particularly upsetting as my elderly parents were with me. I immediately reported the incident to reception. A reception staff member came to speak with her, but the bar employee even shouted at the reception staff. Unfortunately, there was no manager or senior person available at the time for me to formally report the incident. β’ Serious bathroom safety issue: On the second day, the bathroom door in Room 402 locked while I was inside, and I could not open it. There was also no telephone in the bathroom to call reception. Fortunately, I managed to push the door hard enough to get it open. I reported this immediately, but the door was still not repaired when I checked out.
