“Not looked after enough”
Very central
They gave us a room with steps down to the bathroom and no nightlight. I get up during the night to use the toilet and I fell and hurt myself badly. We were not offered any remuneration. I felt let down. It could have been a serious accident

Beautiful design interior of building, of room, of bathroom. Bistro at premises offering real bistro food, with a British touch. Involved employees. We certainly return one day.

“As expected, a lovely hotel in a great location.”
Great location, and really comfortable bed and linen. We were given a very large room with seating area, which was a lovely surprise. Our rate included breakfast, which was very good.
A little dated compared to the Edinburgh Hotel du Vin (for example, no USB sockets for chargers). A bit short staffed at breakfast, took a while for supplies of juice, crockery etc on the buffet to be replenished. The staff were all lovely though.
