βLovely location and very pleasant atmosphereβ
the location is terrific- I loved being right next to the picturesque old harbor, and the hotel is ridiculously convenient to the Blaak train station. its right there! Loved all the staff too. They were, without exception, very friendly and helpful. I also enjoyed the big bed being right next to the big picture window - particularly because there was an office across the way with floor to ceiling windows, so that was kind of fun I really appreciated the comfortable common space, available for hanging out, reading, and socializing.
the room needed a little more dusting and sweeping during the week, but it was not a major concern. I wish there had been a kettle or coffee maker in the room because sometimes I just wanted a cup of coffee or tea without having to get dressed to go get it. if I were less self-conscious I would have just schlepped down to the bar in my jammies! Also, a work-out room would have been nice.
