Wasn't anything to dislike
Nothing
The staff was nice, they changed my room when I mentioned the noise in floor 16th from the traffic.
Even at floor 24th I could hear the traffic. Rooms had an unpleasant smell. There ate only 3 elevators that are very slow.
We had a wonderful stay at City Garden Grand Hotel and was especially happy with the service. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout our stay, and they really made us feel comfortable and well looked after. A special thank you to Bench, Emann, Ken, Jaycee, and Hannah for their kindness and excellent service. Each of them was so helpful, warm, and accommodating, and their genuine care made our stay even more enjoyable. They are truly an asset to the hotel.
One area that could be improved is the space at the front entrance for vehicle pick-up and drop-off. There isn’t much room to stop, so guests can feel rushed while loading their luggage into the car, especially when other motorists are waiting behind and honking or calling out. Having a little more space or a better-managed pick-up area would make arriving and departing much less stressful. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and appreciated the wonderful staff. Thank you to the whole team for making us feel so welcome. We would happily stay here again and recommend the hotel to others. ❤️
“Really good in the mid-tier!”
Very good hotel in the mid-tier section. The rooms are really clean and well maintained. Loved the real wood floors in the room. Even a window can be opened a bit for some “fresh” air. Not seen that in a hotel in the Philippines. Breakfast was massive and tasted really good. Staff was really friendly. Dining was also good. The rooftopbar is wauw. The swimming pool has a primairy use for the selfie-lovers. Free parking! Altough the climb up needs a driver with steel nerves. Would stay here again!
If I have to be picky…the soundproofing is not the best. The windows are made of single glass and let some noice from the street in. The airco is next to the bed so you feel the draft in bed. But that is me being really really picky. For this pricepoint it is a nobrainer.
