Subject: FORMAL COMPLAINT β DISGRACEFUL CONDITIONS AND DEMAND FOR A FULL REFUND We are absolutely shocked, disgusted, and outraged by the conditions of our accommodation! When we arrived, the room was FLOODED WITH WATER, the bed and bedsheets were STAINED AND DIRTY, and to make matters even worse, there were BED BUGS! There was absolutely NO ventilation system, no proper airflow, and the room was so stuffy that we could barely breathe! And unfortunately, that was only the beginning of this nightmare! During the evening, people were EXERCISING IN THE HALLWAY RIGHT OUTSIDE OUR ROOM, making noise and disturbing everyone. At night, it was absolutely impossible to sleep or get any proper rest. Even worse, A DRUNK PERSON ACTUALLY ENTERED OUR ROOM DURING THE NIGHT! How is this even possible?! Where was the security? Where was the staff? This is an extremely serious breach of privacy and safety, and it is completely unacceptable! The shared toilets downstairs were in an absolutely DISGUSTING and DEPLORABLE condition. The hygiene standards throughout this establishment were simply shocking. And as if all of this wasnβt enough, we also paid for pizzas at the restaurant, only to be served pizzas that were NOT EVEN PROPERLY DEFROSTED! These pizzas were served by a young woman who did not seem to know what she was doing at all. Was she even an actual member of staff?! We seriously question the professionalism and management of this establishment! We came here for a MARATHON WEEKEND, expecting a clean, safe, and comfortable place to rest before and after our race. Instead, we experienced an absolute NIGHTMARE! WE HAVE NEVER EXPERIENCED ANYTHING LIKE THIS IN OUR ENTIRE LIVES! This is the first time we have ever encountered such appalling, unacceptable, and disgraceful conditions.
Affordable in the center of very expensive Amsterdam. Good matress in this tiny room.. Not suitable for long stay but fine for short journeys
Be prepared to tiny blind rooms.. the rest is ok The lobby bar is also outrageaously expensive (4 euros for a small bottle of sparkling water)

It was a unique hotel with wonderful staff. Our mattress was messed up on our first night and by the time we got back from our first day of exploring we had a brand new bed! We met wonderful people!
