“Really nice hotel and restaurant with friendly staff”
We had a single night stay at The Bird (Bath) whilst attending a concert at the nearby Bath Forum. The hotel was clean and well presented and quite unique in its presentation and decor (not your average chain hotel). All the staff were professional and friendly. The room was nicely appointed, albeit we were not a fan of the en-suite layout (narrow cubicles either side of a sink in the room), but it was OK for one night.If we were to return, I would check and see if there was a room with a more conventional en-suite. The restaurant food was excellent, and the hotel/restaurant were happy to accommodate the fact that we were on a tight schedule to get to our gig, so were happy to allow us to preorder to save time. Finally, small touches like the sweet corner, and the provided water and very tasty flapjacks on departure were nice touches. Highly recommended.
