“The worst hotel experience I’ve ever had dirty, disrespectful and completely unacceptable”
The only advantage of the hotel was that it was relatively close and even that wasn’t really true
From the moment we entered our room, it was clear that something was wrong. There was a strong smell of urine, the room was dirty, there were hairs on the bed, the towels smelled strange, and the overall level of cleanliness was terrible. On top of that, the curtain did not close properly, so light came through the window, and the refrigerator was leaking. At first, we didn’t even complain. We decided to deal with it ourselves, bought cleaning products with our own money, and cleaned the room ourselves. The next day, we asked for clean towels, but we didn’t receive any, and our room was not cleaned either. We went down to reception to complain and were told to come back in the morning and that they would take care of it. The following morning, we woke up to an unbearable sewage smell in our room. It was so strong that it was difficult to even breathe. We complained again and ended up wasting a large part of our morning waiting to be moved to another room. The whole process took far too long, and despite everything we had already experienced, we were not offered any compensation. We had also paid for a room with a street view, but the replacement room we were given faced the parking lot. The second room was slightly cleaner and thankfully did not have the same horrible smells, but the telephone was broken. When we reported it, once again we were told to come back the next morning. The following day, at around 9 a.m., the cleaner entered our room while we were sleeping and started waking me up, telling me to get up because she wanted to clean the room. I explained that we were sleeping and asked her to come back later, but she refused. At first, she even refused to leave and continued cleaning while we were trying to sleep. Eventually, I had to tell her that I didn’t want the room cleaned at all just to get her to leave. Once again, we went to reception to complain and ask for towels, and once again we were told to come back the next morning.
