βExceptional Stay at InterContinental Dubai Marinaβ
My wife and I had a fantastic stay at the InterContinental Dubai Marina. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional and the whole experience felt genuinely first-class. A special thank you to Angelica on reception, whose warm and friendly welcome immediately made us feel at home. We were also delighted with the upgrade to a beautiful Marina View room, which made our stay even more special. Rafi and Jhony also deserve a special mention for looking after us so well β from our arrival by taxi to arranging valet parking when we hired a vehicle. Nothing was ever too much trouble. The breakfast was absolutely amazing, with an excellent choice and superb quality. A beautiful hotel, fantastic location and, most importantly, outstanding staff who genuinely care about their guests. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily return. Highly recommended!

Absolutely nothing worth mentioning. The experience was completely overshadowed by unacceptable service and incompetent management.
I have stayed in luxury five-star hotels around the world, and this was by far the worst experience I have ever had. I would not return even if offered a free stay. Despite booking one of their most expensive suites, on two separate days during our six-night stay, my elderly mother, my one-year-old baby daughter, and our family were left stranded outside our room because of a defective door system. The first incident was treated with complete indifference. Nothing was properly resolved, and the same failure happened again days later. The manager did not even have the courtesy to come personally. Instead, he called, offered an empty apology, and suggested sending a technician to repair the door while my family and baby were inside. Were we supposed to tolerate potentially hours of repairs in a suite we paid a premium price for? Is this the best solution a five-star hotel can offer? The hotel also has far too few elevators for such a large building. They are constantly busy, frequently occupied by staff, and guests sometimes wait nearly ten minutes. Even at checkout, the incompetence continued. We requested a bellboy, called twice, and waited 15 minutes. Nobody came. I eventually had to carry the luggage of two families downstairs myself. I am certain the hotel will respond to this review with yet another meaningless apology. But apologies do not replace responsibility or genuine solutions. We understand that mistakes happen. What we cannot accept is repeated negligence, complete indifference, and a fundamental lack of respect for guests. Anyone who respects themselves and their family should stay away from this hotel. Based on our experience, you can expect nothing but disrespect, incompetence, and utterly disgraceful service.

Our room was upgraded and we were extremely comfortable. The staff were lovely and very obliging. We were also provided with a breakfast box as we left early.
