βExactly what we needed.β
If youβre going to spend money somewhere in Sorrento, spend it here. This place is so, so cute and genuinely such good value for the price. Itβs perfectly positioned overlooking the valley, with a beautiful terrace, a cute shared pool, and a side view of the mountains. Itβs not the full panoramic Sorrento view but thatβs where the extra $$$ comes in. Some rooms have hot tubs and bigger balconies, but we went with the basic room and honestly, it was amazing. Thereβs also a nearby beach you can access through the neighboring hotel for β¬35 per person. Youβre also 15 minutes away from a free public beach that has a natural pool which is such a plus if you want to experience swimming in the deep blue water. Folks do swim at the marina too, so you could go there. Also, EAT AT PORTA MARINA! It is a must. Most importantly, the staff are incredibly hospitable and kind. Itβs about a 10-minute walk to the main tourist areas and around 20 minutes all the way down to the marinaβand that walk is genuinely one of the most beautiful youβll take in Sorrento. It was such a unique experience in a country that can somehow feel fast, busy, and overwhelming. Helios and Sorrento slowed it all down for us. It felt like a little pause in the middle of the tripβquiet mornings, beautiful views, slow walks down to the marina, and nowhere we needed to rush to. Perfect value for the price. Would absolutely stay here again.
