“neglected hotel - feels like a boarding house for students”
The hotel feels like a boarding house for international sports students. You have breakfast with them; they watch football until 1am in front of the rooms (with the hotel staff). Cleaning is an issue; we requested the hair to be removed from the previous guests twice, towels were stained, the bathroom smelled badly (no water trap at the sink—we bent the tube to create one), and closets were dusty inside. The last day there was no room service until late in the evening after 6pm "because many guests moved out that day". Tables at the breakfast room were not wiped for long, and other guests served themselves with their hands directly in the buffet. (After initial complaints, spoons were attributed to the buffet, and napkins were provided at the tables.) The request for clothing hangers remained unanswered after three days, although requested twice. - The place has a vibe of a hotel run by staff who either have no experience or motivation.
