“Disappointing: Room I booked in advance was given to someone else”

My room was given to someone else even though I booked and paid in advance. I had to sleep in the lobby until 4:00 in the morning to get a room after another person checked out, because all other hotels in the city were fully booked. I was not offered any compensation. Furthermore, there was a mouse next to the trash bags near the breakfast table Hotel is unresponsive
“Poor quality neglected hotel and facilities”
The fittings in the room were broken or inconvenient, ie plug nowhere near desk, bathroom door jammed against bed, taps nearly falling off, new staff directing me to wrong floor, no knowledge of area, trams screaming down the road every 5mins, no WiFi code provided, no reception answering

I have submitted a request for refund to booking.com with no response. The hotel AC did not work during 3 night stay and temperatures were 34c. Room was unbearable. Very disappointed in Booking.com.
