“Very comfortable beds, great restaurant. Location more than a walk from main Unawatuna.”
The bed and pillows were the most comfortable in all of the 9 locations we stayed at in Sri Lanka. The rooms facilities were also sensational with a huge bathroom and jacuzzi and indoor couches. The restaurant was great with plenty to choose from. Staff were very attentive and always welcoming.
It was tropical storms for about 90% of the three days we spent here. It meant the outdoor furniture on the deck were somewhat unusable due to them being wet from with the rain or sea water (wet salty feeling) and the aluminum awnings were loud from the constant waterfall from the room above. Our laundry was also late by 12 hours from what was promised. The location is ok, with no nearby rated restaurants or other amenities. Will require a tuk tuk ride to central Unawatuna for shopping or eateries.

Everything. The staff were kind and courteous but not overbearing, the room was lovely - really comfortable and well set up with a beautiful ocean view. The food was excellent and the location was perfect.
