“Excellent price and location means I can overlook some deficiencies”
Location was good and they had ground floor rooms available - which was important for me since I had a knee injury and couldnt go up the stairs. Price was really good too considering they also have breakfast. I loved the location, walking distance to tours, the ferry, restaurants, bars, cafes.
The hotel staff at the lobby were a bit noisy and I could hear them from our room on the ground floor. I wish they would gossip elsewhere because it does get annoying. Also I remember they had this weird policy where even small stains lets say from a little foundation they would point out and warn you that might cost you extra, so I was so paranoid about any stains on our sheets during our stay. Now that I remember this Ill downgrade my rating from a 9 to an 8. The hotel is also pretty dated/old, but for the price and location I really won't complain about that.
We had a nice stay at Aqua Travel Lodge. Nothing too fancy, but the room was clean, comfortable and had good aircon. The location is probably the best part since you're right in town and close to the boats, restaurants and shops. Loved having breakfast while looking out over the bay. Such a beautiful view to start the day!

They charged us 700 php each person for the dirt in the towels, or that’s what they said, because we just used it after we had shower, a normal thing.
El servicio de este hotel es completamente inaceptable y rozó lo ridículo. Al llegar el primer día, nos exigieron un depósito abusivo de 6000 pesos filipinos "por si ocurría algo". Para colmo, al momento de hacer el check-out, se pusieron a revisar las sábanas mirándolas a trasluz por la ventana para buscar cualquier mínima mancha. Finalmente, nos cobraron 900 pesos filipinos de forma totalmente injustificada. El trato al cliente es vergonzoso y obsesivo. No lo recomiendo en absoluto.
