“Our second stay at the Ryedale, a venue which suited our personal requirement's 100%”
Our second visit to the Ryedale and it continues to be a delightful place to stay. Travelling here by train, the hotel is ideally placed for the railway station and also the bus stops which we make use of during our visit. The room was spotless and well equipped and our hosts John & Hayley could not have been kinder or more helpful. The hotel is in a very good state of decoration and repair and has a welcoming feel about it. Breakfast was very satisfactory and set us up for our big walk on Saturday along a section of the Island's coastal path. It is certainly our intention to stay here again in the future.
To be honest it is hard to identify any short comings with regards to our stay and specific requirements. There was some street noise (i.e. passing pedestrians and road traffic), at the front in the evenings though not excessive but we tend to sleep with the windows open so this is to be expected perhaps.

Hayley and John were very welcoming and the stay felt like a home away from home. Breakfast was exceptional!! Location was perfect for what we needed. We will definitely be making a return back to the Ryedale and have already recommended to family / friends!!
Hotel was modern with a twist of old. Very clean and tidy. Rooms and beds were really clean and very comfortable. Easy access to bus stops, town centre and Shanklin beach.

Free parking provided. Lovely cooked breakfast and a wide selection. Short walk to the beachfront and promenade. Hotel was immaculate, spotlessly clean. Beds were comfy for a good nights sleep. Excellent hosts nothing was too much trouble for them. Would definitely recommend.
