“A Warm Welcome in the Heart of the Lakes”
Great location for exploring the Lakes, enjoying nature, and discovering the surrounding areas. The host was very welcoming and made us feel relaxed from the start, with several helpful communications before our arrival and even paper maps to help us find our way around. We really appreciated the thoughtful touches and friendly hospitality.

Alles was perfect! De eigenaar was superaardig en goed georganiseerd. Echt een aanrader! We hebben inmiddels meerdere B&B’s gehad in Engeland, maar deze was veruit de beste. Hier voel je je echt te gast. De mensen zijn ontzettend vriendelijk en gastvrij. We hebben enorm genoten van ons verblijf!

Beautiful location for exploring the Lake District very close to Whinlatter Forest. Hermiston Guest house was easy to find. Our hosts Phil and Helen were very welcoming and friendly. Also we really appreciated how helpful Phil was with " printouts " of the area with great tips on places to visit and best parking spots etc. The house was very clean and welcoming. Our room was cosy and quiet, lovely view of the garden. The breakfast was wonderful...best scrambled eggs ever.. Phil goes above and beyond to ensure you have a lovely stay...nothing is too much trouble. I would definitely recommend staying at Hermiston Guest House.
