We were lucky with the weather; it was excellent. It only rained on the last day—the ninth day. The evening shows were fantastic, and the staff were friendly. Our housekeeper, Eva (or Hava in Turkish), was a very sweet and friendly young woman! It was our first time in Turkey.
The mattresses were terrible. We were given an extra mattress topper, but the filling was lumpy. We tried putting a blanket underneath, but that only helped a little; our sides were left bruised from the mattress. We are probably just used to orthopedic mattresses. The pillows were uncomfortable, too.It’s a shame the air conditioners were old and very noisy, but thanks for the fact that they worked. It’s a shame the show was so late—at 9:30 PM—because by the time it ended, we were too tired to go to anything else (like the disco or karaoke).
