Cher pour le Sri Lanka, ce tarif mérite plus de personnalisation et d'attention particulière comme une attention d'acceuil en chambre, des propositions de visites ou expériences. Une visite du fort est offerte, on ne nous en a jamais parlé par exemple. Deçus par les déjeuners sans intérêt nous n'avons du coup pas tester la carte du soir.

This was one of our favourite hotels we have ever stayed in. The hotel is beautiful, the staff are so lovely. The happy hour was a highlight too!!

Our suite was well designed and spacious, and generously large, with a very high ceiling under a pitched roof. The bed was nice and comfortable; plenty of drinking water; the bathroom, with 2 wash basins, was also well designed, large and clean; towels were lovely and plush; the incense sticks with accompanying match sticks was a thoughtful touch. The breakfasts were wonderful, especially the Sri Lankan breakfast option. It was a great introduction to Egg Hoppers. The bar served wonderful cocktails and mocktails. Dinner was also excellent, when we dined in one rainy night. It was nice that you keep the aircondition on for lunch and dinner (not all restaurants in Galle have aircons). And we throughly enjoyed the complimentary guided tour of the Galle fort area.
The airconditioning was extremely weak in our bedroom, despite there being 2 aircon units, obviously minimally required to cool this very large room with a very high ceiling. It's so important, especially during the hotter months around May/June. However, both aircon units were not sufficient. Fortunately, there was a ceiling fan, which we kept at full blast throughout the night, because the aircons could not fully bring down the room temperature to at least a comfortable 20-22 degrees C. Also, the toilet area is not air conditioned, so we kept the bedroom doors ajar so that the cool air could flow into the bathroom and wardrobe area. If I stay here again, I would perhaps select a smaller room with a lower ceiling, so that the aircon can cool the room more quickly and effectively. And bring plenty of mosquito repellant. Those critters sneak in at any chance they get!

Honestly one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Beautiful heritage conversion project, lovely pool area, spacious comfy rooms. The complimentary drinks hour every day was a nice touch and breakfast was high-end restaurant level. Staff were universally lovely. The location was also perfect - right in the heart of Galle, close to lots of great restaurants.
