The hotel is in a very good location, close to many restaurants, shops and places of interest in Ubud, so it is convenient for exploring the area on foot. However, something important to keep in mind is that the hotel is located down a very narrow street that cars cannot access. You have to walk approximately five minutes from where the car drops you off to reach the hotel. It may not sound like much, but when you are carrying or pulling heavy luggage, it feels much longer and can be quite inconvenient, especially on arrival and departure.
Unfortunately, our stay did not start well at all. Before our arrival, we had arranged a pick-up from the port directly with the hotel for IDR 300,000. The hotel confirmed the service and told us that a driver would be waiting at the port holding a sign with our names. However, when we arrived, there was nobody there. We tried calling the hotel several times, but no one answered. We then contacted them through Booking.com, and they only replied about an hour later, by which time we had already arranged a Grab ourselves and had to walk around 20 minutes with our luggage to reach it. The hotel eventually told us that their car had broken down and that they were going to send another driver. I understand that unexpected problems can happen, but what was unacceptable was that nobody informed us beforehand, nobody answered our calls, and when we finally arrived at the hotel, we did not even receive an apology or any acknowledgment of what had happened. This already gave us a very poor first impression. Unfortunately, the room also had several issues. The shower curtain only covered about half of the shower area, so every time we showered, water ended up all over the bathroom floor. The curtains in the bedroom did not block out the light at all, meaning that from around 6 a.m. the entire room was already very bright. The soundproofing was also very poor. We could clearly hear people talking and walking in the corridors at all hours, including during the night, which made it difficult to get a proper rest. Overall, the biggest disappointment was not simply that things went wrong, but the lack of communication and attention from the hotel when they did. For a hotel stay, especially after arranging and confirming services in advance, we expected a much better level of organization and customer service.

Hemos estado alojados en Betutu Bali Villas y la experiencia ha sido muy positiva. Elegimos este alojamiento por las excelentes reseñas que tenía tanto en Booking como en Google, y la verdad es que no nos ha defraudado. A pesar de que nuestro vuelo llegó muy tarde por la noche, nos esperaron sin ningún problema y nos llevaron hasta el alojamiento, algo que agradecimos muchísimo después de un viaje tan largo. Fue todo un acierto reservar aquí. Las habitaciones son muy bonitas, con una gran terraza y vistas a la piscina, lo que hace que la estancia sea muy agradable. El desayuno incluido es correcto y suficiente para una estancia de 2 o 3 noches; si te alojas más tiempo puede resultar algo repetitivo, ya que la variedad de platos es limitada. Como sugerencia de mejora, agradeceríamos un cambio diario de toallas para evitar la humedad, y también observamos que las sábanas tenían algunas manchas. Así como la mejora de los baños (algo viejos y esto puede no gustar) Por lo demás, la ubicación es muy buena: se puede llegar andando a prácticamente todo en menos de 10-15 minutos. Además, ofrecen muchos servicios y también organizan transporte; en nuestro caso nos llevaron en taxi hasta Padang Bai, con un servicio muy cómodo y puntual. Sin duda, volveremos. ¡Gracias por todo!
