the location was perfect... we did not opt for the breakfast
the entrance was like the pictures online and that was it. firstly, we had to choose out of the two bedrooms or suites upstairs and this is where the accommodation falls flat. As we entered the foyer to go upstairs the staircase carpet was disgusting. It was beige in colour and dirty with dirt marks and stains on the carpet. The multi coloured designed carpet was filthy, the brightness of the carpet hidden by the dirt. As we entered into the room which we chose, the door could not close properly and had boot marks on the door, I gathered from previous tenants and the white door was filthy and I had to ask them to clean the door and the fridge that was dirty as well and really rusty. The two seater couch was full of stains and filthy and we could not even swop the cushions as the underneath was even worse. To boil the water in the kettle one had to use the plug in the bedroom and put the kettle on the floor. There are extension cords that are across from the tv to power the fridge and one could easily trip over the extension as it is across the pathway to the bedroom. They catered for two people and when I booked, I had specifically said 3 people. There was no bathroom gels or creams as stated and thank goodness we brought our own stuff. The air conditioner in the bedroom was not working. The verandah leading from the lounge had a table with chairs that looked like they had never been cleaned since purchased. When the intern came into clean the next day, she just made the bed and washed the cups that were there, she did not even dust and there was dust all on the window sills etc. I must say this has had to be the worst place I have ever stayed in and I have stayed in a number of different hotels over the past years and travelled extensively overseas as well. I did take photos of the dirty door and fridge and the 2x seater couch, but I think my explanations were detailed enough.
