“Gut”

The room was lovely, with complimentary coffee and my own private little shower. Most of what I wanted to see was within easy walking distance.
First of all, the wifi was atrocious. I had to sit on the floor by my door to get any connection, and even that dropped out every 5 minutes. They offered me another room, which I appreciated, but I was in a rush and short on time, so I just dealt with it. But SAY NO if they offer you the top floor! Refuse it! The walls were paper thin, so I could hear the couple's every word next door, which was just them complaining about the wifi all evening. The check-in process felt very sketchy to me. They made me enter my bank details on an online platform, which I wasn't comfortable with. The check-in time is unusually late, and the check-out time is unusually early. It's the cheapest place I could find in Cardiff, but still really expensive for what you get.

Shower didn’t drain, toilet was basically broke, our carpet in our room had a stench, room so tiny and stuffy.
