We had a wonderful stay at Kausar hotel Bishkek. We were pleasantly supprised with an upgrade to a Deluxe Suite. Breakfast was superb with a great variety. A special mention to Merjem who went above and beyond to help us book our tickets to Tashkent. Also arranged accommodation for us there which made our onward travel much easier. The hotel was also kind enough to keep our luggage safely while we traveled to Issykul lake. Which was incredibly convenient and much appreciated. It was the thoughtful gestures and genuine willingness of the staff to assist that made our stay feel so comfortable and welcoming. Thank you Mohamed, Adem, Merjem and the antire team at Kausar hotel. For the wonderful hospitality at this hotel

All members of staff I met were very kind and welcoming. My room was spacious and clean, the bed super comfortable and the AC worked fine. There's a terrace on the second floor and an outdoor seating area in the garden, which was a nice place to relax a little after a day out. Breakfast was great with a lot of food to choose from. When I had to leave in the middle of the night to go to the airport, they kindly prepared a breakfast box for me. The hotel is in a quiet, more residential area. Yes, it's not super close to the centre, but I enjoyed seeing a different part of Bishkek. It was also nice to sleep at night without noise from cars/streets.
My main issue was the shower. No matter what I did, the water never stayed at the right temperature and the water pressure also wasn't great. I had booked the hotel after three weeks of small guesthouses, yurt camps and shared bathrooms as a treat before going home, so I was a little disappointed. The hotel is in a more residential part of the city, so there's not too much in the immediate area in terms of shops or restaurants. You can walk to the centre of Bishkek, but it's a bit of a walk. However, Yandex is a cheap option if you don't feel like walking. It was definitely the most luxurious place I stayed in during my time in Kyrgyzstan, but for the price it felt a little outdated.
