“A Hotel or a Late-Night Bar?”
The hotel is nice but...
The hotel has a bar in its garden and seems to be trying to cater to two very different types of guests: those staying at the hotel to rest and those who come only to drink and socialize until the early hours of the morning. These two activities can coexist, but only if they are properly managed and reasonable closing hours are enforced to respect the guests' right to rest. It is now 2:00 a.m., and it is impossible to sleep because of the constant noise, shouting, and even bottles being smashed in the garden. My group has to wake up at 5:00 a.m. tomorrow to catch a flight, which makes the situation especially frustrating. I rarely write negative reviews about places where I stay. However, I feel it is important to draw attention to this issue because it directly affects the experience of guests who choose this hotel expecting a good night's rest. Tonight, I asked the staff several times to bring the situation under control, but unfortunately no effective action was taken, and the noise continued for hours. I have brought groups to this hotel on several occasions and have always recommended it. That is precisely why I am disappointed to see that, on this occasion, the operation of the bar appears to have been given greater priority than the comfort of the guests who have paid to stay here. The solution seems straightforward: establish reasonable opening hours for the bar and ensure that, after a certain time, the peace and quiet of hotel guests are respected. A hotel should provide a place where its guests can sleep and recover. I sincerely hope the management will address this issue, because it would be a real shame to stop recommending a hotel that we have trusted until now.
