βA sumptuous, peaceful retreat in the heart of historic Pragueβ
We had a wonderful four-night stay at the Alchymist Grand Hotel and Spa. Our Royal Suite was wonderfully spacious and lavishly decorated, complete with a walk-in closet, two comfortable seating areas, a mini-kitchen area and an extremely restful bed. The dining was exceptional. Breakfast offered a generous hot selection, fresh pastries, cakes, an extensive array of fresh fruit and complimentary morning Prosecco, matching the lovely welcome bottle waiting in our suite on arrival. Our evening dinner at the restaurant was just as impressive. The subterranean Ecsotica Spa was a highlight, offering a peaceful pool and sauna setting that felt worlds away from the city bustle, complemented by a basic yet adequate gym. The location in MalΓ‘ Strana could not be better - peaceful, highly walkable to both Prague Castle and Charles Bridge, and exceptionally safe thanks to the diplomatic security next door. Above all, the staff were attentive and welcoming, assisting seamlessly with luggage, taxis and local recommendations.
