Our last night in Kigali. When I booked the place via booking, it did mention that there was a free airport shuttle included and that no cash was allowed to pay the room so that we needed to use Mastercard/Visa. This was perfect for us. However when we arrived, we could not pay by card, only cash (which we didn't have anymore in the local currency) also the airport shuttle was not for free, but would cost us 25.000 shillings. The communication was really hard! I really had the feeling that they were not wanting us to help. Even though we are the only guests. In the end Josh (one of the staff members) did drive us to the airport for free (I can be stubborn). He is a really nice guy btw. But still, the room was way to expensive for what it was. It did have a hot shower, the neighborhood is nice, and the breakfast was also good.
