The bed was comfortable. The room and bathroom were clean.
There was no fridge in the room for storing milk or refridgerables. I had a limited choice of tea and coffee, and no teaspoon was provided for stirring! For a double room, it was very small, and the bathroom was like a shoebox. It was tedious needing to key in a code for using the bathroom. Housekeeping seemed limited to emptying the bin, not making the bed or changing towels. I couldn't get any terrestrial stations on the TV. The wifi password provided in the room was wrong. In a panic, I rang Claire (my call wasn't answered), then noted that it said that any calls (outside of informing there was a fire) would incur a £50 fee ! Claire's curt response via email basically told me to turn the TV on & off. Thankfully Netflix worked. A nice touch would be at least providing visitors with proper instructions re TV & Wifi and a map of Cambridge given guests are out of towners and overseas visitors like myself. I wouldn't stay again or recommend.

“An absolute nightmare!”
To be honest, only the location but this place is still a scam.
The Norna is an absolute scam, period. I booked the place via Booking.com seeing an assortment of photos that was available. Was only told I was given the attic to stay in after making payment. I was travelling with an elderly parent with mobility issues and luggages and we had to climb 3 flights of stairs. Requested for a room change if possible but was refused by the host. Asked for a partial refund if the request can't be accomodated. Also refused by the host with no alternative options given. This place also has no kitchen, the access to the topmost floor bathroom is also steep. A few customer support staff of Booking.com also tried to negotiate and ask but she flatly refused. Totally unresponsive host who cuts your calls when you reach out and has no sense of courtesy or humanity. Absolutely the worst experience. Better options near the railway station include Ibis Hotel, Station Hotel, Clayton Hotel. Don't fall for the cheap price advertised. You're better off spending a little more for these better options near the Cambridge Railway Station.
